POLE-MOUNTED SWITCH SERIES
The pole mounted switch is a type of circuit breaker used in the pole to guarantee the electrical power safety and its main function is to disconnect the high tension of the circuit.
The column switch is a very essential equipment in the electrical power system, primarily being used for control and isolation circuits. It normally consists of a cylinder, a switching mechanism, a joint, a support and an operating mechanism.
The cylinder is the basic structure of the switch on the column, generally made of porcelain, composite insulation material or plastic. The switch mechanism is the heart of the switch on the column, consisting mainly of a static contact, a moving contact, a limiting mechanism, an operating mechanism and an anti-buffeting mechanism. The joint is the key point on the column where the switch and cable are joined, ensuring a safe power connection and earth protection. The support is the element that secures the switch to the column, ensuring the switch’s stability and reliability on the column. The operating mechanism consists of a manual operating mechanism and a remote operating mechanism, which can realise manual or remote control of the switch on the column.
