Product Description
Design Features
SF6 gas chamber: The key to reliable current interruption and arc suppression.
Rugged outdoor housing: An enclosure designed to protect the circuit-breaker from the elements, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Status Indicators: Clear visual indicators that communicate the status of the switch, simplifying monitoring and maintenance.
Seamless integration: Compatibility with a wide range of network components and control systems for an integrated approach to existing networks.
Functionality
Circuit Disruption: Designed to safely and effectively interrupt fault and normal operating currents within an electrical system.
Arc Suppression: Utilising SF6 gas technology, these switches offer enhanced arc-quenching capabilities, contributing to a safer operating environment and reduced maintenance intervals.
Outdoor durability: Designed to withstand outdoor elements such as precipitation, dust and temperature extremes.
Operating and installation conditions
Ambient temperature: The operating environment should be within the range of -30°C to +40°C. Special orders for temperatures outside this range should be specified in advance.
Altitude: The maximum recommended installation altitude is 1000 metres. Installations above this altitude require prior consultation.
Humidity: The environment should maintain a daily average relative humidity of ≤95% and a monthly average of ≤90% (at 25°C).
Wind speed: The switch is designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 35 m/s.
Creepage distance: The switch requires a minimum creepage distance of either 25 mm/kV or 31 mm/kV.
Application locations
Urban power distribution: Ideal for densely built-up areas where power reliability and safety cannot be compromised.
Rural Power: Ideal for ensuring a stable power supply in remote areas with challenging environmental conditions.
Industrial power systems: Used in industries where high standards of reliability and safety are required for continuous power supply.
Substation and Grid Interconnection: Critical to the management and security of the flow of power in and out of substations and interconnections to the grid.
