The LW36-72 Series SF6HV outdoor switchgear is a key element in the power distribution environment, ensuring the reliable and safe operation of electrical grids. Designed for outdoor use, these circuit-breakers are built to withstand a range of environmental conditions and provide precise control over the flow of electrical power.
Product Description
Design Features
SF6 gas chamber: The core component for reliable current interruption and arc suppression.
Outdoor housing: Reinforced to protect the circuit breaker from environmental influences, ensuring consistent long-term performance.
Status Indicators: Provide clear visual signals of breaker status, simplifying monitoring and maintenance.
Easy integration: Compatible with a range of network components and control systems for seamless network integration.
Functionality
Circuit Breaker: Designed to safely interrupt both fault and normal currents within an electrical system, providing vital protection.
Arc Suppression: The use of SF6 gas ensures effective arc suppression, resulting in safer operation and less frequent maintenance.
Outdoor durability: Designed to withstand outdoor elements such as rain, dust and extreme temperature fluctuations.
Service and installation conditions:
Ambient temperature: The equipment should be operated in environments with ambient temperatures ranging from -30°C to +40°C. For special orders requiring operation within the range of -40°C to +40°C, this should be specified at the time of ordering.
Altitude: The installation should not exceed an altitude of 1000 metres. For installations above 1000 metres, this value must be specified in advance.
Humidity: The daily average relative humidity should be ≤95% and the monthly average ≤90% (measured at 25°C).
Wind speed: The switch is designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 35 m/s.
Creepage distance: The required creepage distance is either 25 mm per kV or 31 mm per kV, depending on the specification.
Applications
Urban power distribution: Ideal for densely populated areas where power reliability and security are critical.
Industrial Power Management: Designed to provide the high reliability and security needed to keep industrial powering up and running.
Rural Power: Provides remote areas with harsh environmental conditions with a stable power supply.
Substation and Grid Interconnection: Essential for controlling and protecting power flows in substations and grid interconnections.
